Ainu is a media producer and audiovisual creator with a genuine connection to youth culture and hands-on experience in digital content production.
In 2024–2025, Ainu worked for YLE Areena Stories as a screenwriter and director on a four-episode series released in winter 2025. Ainu is also part of an intensive development group led by Hyppe Salmi, focused on creating content specifically for 20–30-year-old audiences. As a 26-year-old creator themselves, Ainu brings both lived understanding and practical experience of what young people actually engage with.
Ainu has produced vertical video and short-form content for YLE Areena Stories, RARE Media and Operaatio Arktis, and is at home navigating current trends in digital storytelling.
With experience across the full production pipeline — from screenwriting and directing to producing, cinematography, editing and on-screen performance — Ainu has created content for clients including Amos Rex, Ateneum and Kiasma. In 2025, Ainu led the entire visual production of the international ATLAS25 climate conference: animations, trailers, running orders and marketing materials. The conference drew 143 participants, with 215 attending the public Think Corner session and hundreds viewing the livestream. Media coverage reached millions of people through major outlets including Helsingin Sanomat and YLE. That same year, Operaatio Arktis received the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture’s National Prize for Science Communication.
Ainu is used to making impactful content quickly and with limited resources — and knows that content made for young audiences demands, above all, authenticity.
